After critically investigating issues relating to the site, it's immediate contexts and communities, I could see that a natural geographical extension of the culture and live music scene in the nearby Valley and New Farm areas could really add another layer of 'story telling' to this interesting place in Brisbane.

Conceived as an opportunity to get together with friends, chill out on a picnic rug to the Sunday afternoon sessions by local, national and international acts, or dance up a storm to the resident DJ every Friday night, the newly refurbished Howard Smith Wharves UNDERGROUNbD is free to the public, 7 nights a week kicking off from 4pm.
